Held annually under the patronage of His Majesty King Mswati III, the Umhlanga Ceremony is one of Africa’s most iconic cultural events, drawing thousands of young maidens from across the Kingdom and beyond to honor the Queen Mother and celebrate purity, pride, and national identity.
